1. Switch off the machine with the front switch, remove the drip tray and any pods from the machine, and clean the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
2. Fill the water tank with descaler and 500ml water.
3. Place a large glass under the spout and, with the long button held, turn the machine on via the front power switch. Keep the button held until the machine begins to run.
4. Fill the tank with fresh water and run six cups through the machine to clear its contents and any residual descaler.

If you’re using filtered water, we'd recommend descaling the machine every 1,000 brew cycles. If you’re using unfiltered water, then we would suggest descaling every 500 brew cycles.
